Mobile Apps

Equipments belonging to this group have been developed for specific applications using GSM networks.

GSM-Kombi can advantageously be used to provide a high bandwidth path using networks of more different mobile operators. This transmission path is very well protected against illegal monitoring.

Mobile Recording Gateway (MRG) can be used for public and LEA’s applications as well.


GSM-Kombi: Mobile Broadband Transmission Device

This device provides broadband communications path via a multiple of GSM-operators as a function of bandwidth to be transmitted. The solution multiplies the capacity of the individual GSM connections by this method and is useful in case of limited availability of GSM bandwidth in a certain location. This device sets up GSM calls in so many channels, which is justified by the bandwidth to be transmitted.

GSM-Kombi is excellently applicable to transmit secure information, because the information can not be decoded by eavesdropping a single channel.

GSM Kombi is prepared in two versions: two and four SIM cards (engines). Optionally it is possible to build in a 1,8” SSD flash drive where the transferred video data can be recorded as well. The storage capacity is recently: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Central video recording server for GSM-Kombi devices

If user has the possibility to establish IP connections to the individual mobile operators, GSM-Kombi devices are suitable for a joint usage together with a video server. This server is able to to interwork with ten GSM-Kombi devices each of them with four channels (the server is able to handle 40 simultaneous video streams). It uses a special IP distribution algorithm and beside this records the incoming video streams. An effective web-based user interface is applied for the management of the devices, to display incoming video streams, for setting remote devices and IP video cameras.

Demand may emerge from individual organizations, institutions or companies to control the mobile traffic of their employees on an effective way. The control has two different functions:
  • The recording and archiving of the conversations of the assigned mobile telephones for a possible later use.
  • The flexible assignment of the available parties for calls within or outside the mobile network.

This features can exceedingly be used in the areas of the business life where it is important to store the speech content of telephone calls and their call related data to search them back promptly in case of controversial cases.

This service can be offered by the mobile operators for their customer.

Building blocks of the system

To provide a better utilization the Centralized media, database and client server located at the mobile operator’s site is common for more organizationsjoining this service. The individual organizations are handled fully separately. This server acts as a temporary storage for speech items which are regularly uploaded for the archive servers of the relevant organization. For request the media server can also be located in the organization’s site.

The Mobile gateway server connected to the mobile operator’s network is for handling the mobile traffic of the relevant subscribers.

Archive server located in the organization’s site to store and archive the speech and call related data belonging to the mobile phones of the relevant organization.

Workstations at the organization’s site. One workstation serves for assigning the control conditions of the given mobile telephone, the others serve for the real time monitoring and the playback of the recorded conversations. The assignment is not a continous activity thus this workstation can also be used for monitoring and playback purposes. The number of workstations is dependent on the traffic requirements.

The principle of operation

The telephone number of the relevant mobile phone and the telephone numbers of the users possible partners are set up by the assigning workstation of the relevant organization. These data are stored on the central data base server. The system can assure that no other numbers are available from the assigned mobile telephone.

About the fact of recording the conversation the talking parties may receive warning voice announcement (switchable function). When a call is initiated or received on the mobile telephone assigned a signal arrives for the operator of the relevant organization. The operator can decide whether he wants to monitor the call in real time or it is for a later playback after recording. All conversations and their call related data (date of the call, called number holding time etc.) are stored on the Centralized server or on the Archiv server located in the organization’s site.

The system assures that only the authorized operators of the relevant organization can have access to its own employee’s records and data. It is possible to archive certain conversations from the Archive server of the organization for an optional standard audio file as well.

The speech records are encrypted on a two-level basis (organization specific master key, and individual keys). This method assures that the records belonging to a given organization can only be played back by the authorized operators of the same organization.

The playback is only possible by a dedicated software and appropriate authorization. The records are protected by a propritary CRC code against illegal corruption.

Different statistics can be prepared for the organizations about the calls and their call relations. The function of the MRG system is fully independent from the type and setting of the mobile telephones and the type of the mobile network.

For application of the system compliance and initial cooperation is necessary with the mobile operator. After this action the system operates autonomously. The regulations and law regarding personal data handling must also be considered!
